New browser for Windows OS - Spartan
Today, the latest version of the Windows operating system is Windows 10. It appeared quite recently, but has already managed to surprise many users. Moreover, surprise with both positive and negative aspects. We will not consider this operating system in detail, but will talk about the browser that will automatically be built into it. Many users will ask: what about the old and familiar Internet Explorer browser? It will also remain in Windows 10. But the default browser in this operating system will be Spartan. Only on April 29 of this year, the creators gave the Spartan browser a new name. Now it's called Microsoft Edge.
What's new in this browser? We will compare the Microsoft Edge browser with its predecessor, namely Internet Explorer 11. There are many updates here. Let's start with the fact that this browser is built on a new engine called EdgeHTML. The developers claim that thanks to this engine, the browser will work better and more stable, and its speed will become much faster.
The Microsoft Edge browser has a new JavaScript interpreter called Chakra. It is also possible to use a stylus here. That is, it became possible to take notes on Internet pages and then share them. Let’s not ignore the fact that a voice assistant has appeared in the new browser. By the way, perhaps this is the function implemented best in the Microsoft Edge browser.
Well, probably the most significant change compared to the IE11 browser is that the new Microsoft Edge browser now has the ability to add various extensions. This was not the case in any version of Internet Explorer. It is not yet possible to download this browser, since the final release of the Microsoft Edge browser (aka Spartan browser) will take place this summer. But let's hope that the developers' statements will come true and this browser will be much faster and more productive than Internet Explorer.
