Let's talk about how to use this emulator. So let's get started. First you need to install DOSBox on your computer. You can download this program directly from our website.
We will look at the easiest way to work with the DOSBox emulator. Once you have installed this emulator, its icon should appear on your desktop. Now you need to download the game for this emulator. If you haven't done this yet, now is the time.
Most often, games for DOSBox are downloaded as archives. Accordingly, you will need to unpack the downloaded archive with the game. As usual, after this you will end up with a lot of unzipped files.
It is also worth knowing that games for the emulator are launched with files with the extensions bat, exe, or com. To launch the game you need to open a file that has the name of the game you downloaded and one of these extensions.
There is very little left. Go to the game folder and find the launch file. To launch the game, you need to drag the launch file directly into the DOSBox shortcut, which is located on your computer desktop. This is shown in more detail in the screenshot below.
