What is it for? Of course, this method is suitable for girls who find it difficult to choose their next hair color. First of all, you need to open your photo in Photoshop, where your hair is best visible.
Next, you need to convert the background image into a layer and after that go to Edit Quick Mask Mode. This mode is needed in order to highlight the hair in the color you want.
Now you need to select the Brush tool and set the tool size that will be most convenient for you in the process of selecting hair. Once you have selected all the hair in the photo, set the Opacity of the mask to 100%.
You also need to set the primary colors in the order shown in the screenshot below. And here you need to remember that black paints the mask, and white erases it.
Now you can paint over your hair with a brush, doing it all in quick mask mode. Having done this, you need to return to the reverse mode. You will see that the hair and the image frame will be highlighted with a dotted line.
We need to concentrate the selection only on the hair. To do this you need to invert the image. Go to "Select", and then click on the item "reverse".
Next you need to move the selected area to a new layer. To do this, click hotkey combination "Ctrl + J".Now press the next combination"Ctrl + U". After this you need to check the box next to the item "Colorize".
