Ventrilo is a program for direct communication on the Internet using a microphone and headphones. Recently it has become increasingly popular among gamers. A very useful program for those who need to coordinate the actions of a team during a game. All that is necessary for the user is to install the program itself on your computer and connect it to it headphones and microphone.
You can either use already created channels or create your own. In the channel access settings, the administrator can select several types of access - open or limited access using passwords. The rooms in the channel are configured in the same way. Access can be open to both all users of the channel and its individual representatives. Maybe someone will compare it with Skype, but these are completely different programs.
Voice communication settings "Voice Mode" are represented by three types of voice messaging:
- "Normal" – all users can speak at any time
- “Queued” – only one person can speak at a time
- "Muted" – bans conversations for everyone

• The ability to listen to your favorite music or watch movies by all channel users.
• The copy function allows you to directly copy text from any chat in the channel.
The only disadvantage of the service is the lack of a Russian-language interface, which may cause some difficulties for users who do not speak foreign languages.
