Most users uses Hamachi for games. This is convenient when the game has been downloaded and you cannot play it via the Internet. Players just need to install this program and create a virtual network. Now you need to figure out how to set up a local network.
After downloading and installing the program, you will be asked to create a login under which the network will be visible to other users. After registration, an IP address will be automatically issued and will not change. Thanks to this address, other users will be able to find your computer on the network.
Now you can start creating a new virtual network or joining an already created one. To create a network, select the “Network” tab, click on the “Create a new network” item. In the “Identifier” field you should enter the name of the future local network, and in the next field - the password. The password should be shared with those who will join the network.
After creating a network, it appears in the list of available ones. Those who will work on the new network will need to provide a name and password. In order to connect to a local network, you need to select the “Network” tab, there select the “Connect to an existing network” item. After this, you will need to enter the network name and password in the appropriate fields. By the way, if it resets when connecting, then most likely the problem is in the firewall configuration. Disabling the firewall would be bad advice, but adding the program to the exceptions would be more correct. Once the program is included in the computer's security system exceptions, in most cases the connection will be successful.
