How to transfer contacts from iPhone to Samsung smartphone

Как перенести контакты с iPhone на смартфон Samsung

Many users, not adhering to a clear operating system, prefer to use both Apple devices and gadgets from their main competitor, Android. If you decide to switch from iPhone to Samsung or any other Android device, the main thing is to ensure an easy transition from one operating system to another, in particular, transferring contacts.

The main function of a smartphone is still the ability to make calls, so the phone book is usually the most important user tool. You don't need to re-create all your contacts when you just need to transfer them.

How to Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Samsung

Manufacturers of these devices provide several ways to easily and conveniently transfer contacts from one device to another. All you have to do is choose the one that suits you best.

Method 1: Using Google Mail

If you have a registered Google Account (which is highly likely, since you can't use Android without it), you can use it to transfer contacts from one device to another.
  1. First of all, you will need to sync your iPhone contacts with Google Mail. To do this, open the settings on your device and go to the section "Contacts".

  2. Choose a section "Accounts».

  3. Select item "Additional record".

  4. Go to point "Google".

  5. An authorization window will appear on the screen, in which you will need to log in to Google by entering your email address and password.

  6. Next, you will need to note what exactly you need to synchronize. In this case, we need contacts, so it is this item that needs to be activated, and then click on the button “Save”.

From now on, all you have to do is synchronize your Android device with your Google account, after which all contacts will be successfully transferred.

Method 2: Using iCloud

To transfer contacts, you can also use a special web version of the iCloud service, in which you can manage your Apple ID, in particular contacts.
  1. Follow this link https://www.icloud.com/# to the iCloud service page and sign in using your Apple ID details.

  2. Once on your account management page, select the section "Contacts".

  3. Call up an additional menu by clicking on the gear icon in the lower left corner, and then select "Export vCard".

  4. A file with contacts will be downloaded to your device. You need to add it to your Android device. Next, the file should be transferred to your smartphone via a computer or placed in a cloud storage, and then through the settings in the contacts section, select the item "Import contacts", specifying the item for the previously transferred file. It’s difficult to say more precisely, since different smartphones have different settings menus.
But these are not all the ways to transfer contacts; the article only lists, in the author’s opinion, the most convenient ones. If you have alternative and much more convenient methods in mind, share them in the comments.
