How to take a screenshot on a tablet
Typically, a screenshot can be taken in two different ways: using a keyboard shortcut or by clicking on a specific icon that appears when you go to settings.
Ways to take a screenshot
In addition to the ability to take a picture using the tablet system, you can also use special programs for this procedure. Unfortunately, the utilities are not very convenient to use, but they have the ability to edit the resulting image.
Method 1: Using a keyboard shortcut
Typically, all devices use the same button combination:
- Tablet start key and volume up button;
- Tablet start key and volume down button.
You can often find options like this:
- Simultaneously pressing the volume up and down buttons + the device start key;
- Button "Home" and the tablet's power key.
There is also the ability to take a screenshot by pressing the power button several times, but such devices are not common.
Be extremely careful, sometimes when you press a particular key for a long time, you can accidentally enter the BIOS.
Method 2: Use the touch button
Not all users can use this method, since some tablets do not have this function.
- Swipe down from the top of the device screen;
- In the settings menu that appears, find the button "Take a screenshot". Sometimes it may have a different name - "Screen".
The image will be automatically saved on the tablet in the directory "Gallery". Using the methods described in this article, you can easily take a screenshot, regardless of what device you are using.
