Create your own business card on your PC
I have exchanged many business cards in my professional life and have always had to be aware that they have some meaning to me. Since I don't currently have a business card, I thought about how I can design a business card myself and print it.
In such cases, I often use the principle of the minimum. I like it better when a business card contains only the most important information, and it does not look overloaded with unnecessary information. The font should be simple and easy to read. I wouldn't use ornate or fussy fonts. The company name and contact person's name must be clearly visible. This information should immediately stand out and can be emphasized using different colors.
Business card format
If we talk about the business card format, then I would stick to the standard one. The usual format of a business card is the same as a bank card and is 85 x 55 mm. Business cards in this format can be easily transported and use common storage devices on the market.
Create Your Own Business Card - Word Template
Using Word, you can create a template that fits the exact dimensions of your business card. To do this, open Word and select Layout at the top. 
If you now click on Format in the menu bar, you will be presented with other format templates that you can choose from. If the size you need is not listed, click on More paper formats below.....
In the next window, you have the option to enter the width and height separately. I entered the standard business card size (8,5 x 5,5 cm) and confirmed the action by clicking OK.
Now you can start designing your business card. You can also insert photos or graphics into Word. The business card I created has a front and back side, which you can also reproduce using the template.
The business card was designed to be very simple and clear, it should only contain the necessary information about my blog.
Business card printing
I definitely wouldn't print business cards on my own printer. I believe that a business card should look professional from the moment it is printed. This is not possible using conventional printer. Since my business cards have a front and back side, the card will have to be printed double-sided. I am of the opinion that I cannot undercut the prices of professional printers. The cost of card cutting alone is very high. In the printing house this is done automatically and affects the quality
I'm guessing this provider is mainly aimed at business people. Individuals will find more design options with other providers.
Once you get the hang of it, creating a template is quite easy. Knowledge of Word, for example, above average is not required. I love the variety of finishes available.
There's something for everyone here. If you want to create elaborate business cards (I can imagine this for photographers, for example), you'll probably need some experience with image editing or image design software. The download template must already be designed. The site itself doesn't offer much (or am I just looking hard?). The Word template offers optimal assistance. It's really convenient.
The Photoshop template also works well. But of course you need software. This opens up almost limitless design possibilities. It is very suitable for exquisite business cards. The psd format itself is not supported for download. Therefore, the image created in Photoshop, must be saved, for example, in jpeg format. PDF and png formats are also supported. However, I haven't tried this.
