The OziExplorer application is designed to combine raster maps with GPS data, providing interactive navigation capabilities. It is compatible with Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance, Eagle, Brunton/Silva, MLR GPS receivers and supports a variety of map formats including BSB, USGS DRG, ECW, SID, TIF, PNG and more.
Program features
The user can use both ready-made cards and scanned ones themselves. Key functionality includes annotating maps, using different projections and grids, and viewing real-time GPS positions. OziExplorer provides a wide range of tools for working effectively with geospatial data.
Design
The OziExplorer interface provides the user with a rich view of a variety of data. The screen displays the current date and time, exact coordinates (latitude and longitude), battery level and altitude. The user has the ability to switch basic statistics using the buttons located on the right side of the display.
Most of the screen is occupied by the selected map, on which a bright arrow indicates the current location. It is important to note that the application interface does not have a Russian language translation.
