AIMP is a multifunctional audio center. Thanks to the built-in utilities, you can easily transcode music from one format to another, record sound from a microphone or other audio device, edit tags of MP3, OGG, WMA files, and also rename or sort music files in a group. The program was created based on comments from users of other players, so it concentrated all the best and even more.
You can create your own library of audio recordings, create playlists, rate different songs, and add audio to your favorites list. You can also change the playback type. For example, in random order or playing songs of a certain category.
The program has a 20-band equalizer, with which you can give music a certain sound. You also have the opportunity to apply audio effects: reverberation, adding echo, increasing tempo, etc. To make switching between tracks smoother, you can apply a fade-in filter, add a pause between tracks, and enable crossfading.
The player has an 18-band equalizer that allows you to change the sound to the best quality. There are also standard templates for some types of music, ported from Winamp. In addition to the equalizer, there are also 4 special effects: Chorus, Echo, Flanger, Reverb. Each of which has its own settings, which are saved when the program is terminated.
Besides all this, the program has such a convenient function as on-the-fly recording of streaming audio, such as Internet radio broadcasts.
