Rufus 4.4

Rufus is a program for creating bootable flash drives. It is used, for example, to install a new operating system. Other uses include data recovery after hard drive failures or virus scanning when your system won't boot due to malware.

Rufus is a small utility for formatting and creating bootable USB drives, as well as USB keys and memory cards. Unlike similar programs, Rufus works much faster and will be useful in cases when:

  • you need to create USB installation media with loading ISO images (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
  • you need to work on a device that does not have an installed operating system
  • you need to flash the BIOS or create other firmware from DOS
  • you need to run low-level utilities.

Rufus can come in handy when you just need to format a USB drive, install an OS on a computer that doesn't have a CD/DVD-ROM drive, or when you need to temporarily boot an operating system without the intention of actually installing the media. This can be extremely useful when you're on the go or just need access to the operating system for a temporary, isolated reason. The application can even be used to flash firmware into BIOS or other destinations simply by using DOS.

You can download Rufus version 4.4 below

Among other things, using Rufus you can download official ISO images of various versions of Windows 11/10/8.1 operating systems.
The program is very easy to use, has standard and advanced configuration options and is suitable for users with any level of computer skills.
