That is, using this procedure you can do everything on a remote computer (run applications, documents, etc.). But, as mentioned above, there will be no direct contact with the remote computer.
It is worth noting that the speed of work via the RDP protocol directly depends on the speed of your Internet connection. So this factor is also worth considering.
The ability to connect to a remote computer via RDP is not available in all versions of Windows 8. Thus, this feature is missing in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. But Windows 8 Pro has this feature.
In order to enable remote access on your computer running Windows 8 Pro, you need to do several steps. To begin, find the computer icon on your desktop or in the menuStart" and right-click on it. In the new window, select "<font><font>Materials</font></font>". After this, you will be taken to the "View basic information about your computer" menu. Here, look for and click on the item "Setting up remote access".
In the new window you will need to select "Allow remote connections to this computer".
After this, it is worth checking the Windows Firewall, as it may not allow remote access to the computer by default. To do this, go to Windows Firewall, then go to the menu "Allowed programs and components". And here, check the box "Remote desktop control".
