To put it simply, GPU-Z displays all the information about the video card installed in the system unit. Anyone who has repeatedly encountered the problem that the picture does not work, constantly freezes, and textures are blurry or even displayed in squares, knows that the problem is in the video card. The solution is simple - you first need to clarify all the data about it, and then look for solutions.
But most often the software is used in professional services, where programmers are constantly fixing and repairing something. It can also be useful in office centers for the same system administrators.
GPU-Z does not work with all types of video cards. In order for the information to be true, you must have either NVIDIA or ATI.
What can you learn using the presented program?
- who is the manufacturer;
- processor power;
- core type;
- current temperature;
- connection type;
- frequency;
- mode type (2D, 3D);
- maximum acceleration speed;
- free and used memory (video cards also have it);
- version of the required driver;
- much more.

In this picture we see the first page of information that GPU-Z produces. This basic information about video card parameters. In this example, it belongs to NVIDIA. You can see the type, version, technology, connection type, frequency, memory parameters, number of pixels and much more.
The following image shows slightly different information. This is the second tab of the program.
Basically, temperature and power limit sensors are displayed here. If the entire line is red, this means that the capabilities are at the limit, and there is a high probability of overheating or exhaustion of the video card.
The last tab – Validation – is provided to verify the authenticity of data or send a message with a complaint to the developer’s website.
In the empty lines you are asked to enter your name, message, indicate E-mail address and three options:
1.Access will be available only after personal identification.
2.Ability to submit a bug report, if any.
3.Send the code for verification.
As you can see, the GPU-Z program can be very useful. It fully displays the status of various video card parameters. If you have doubts about its authenticity, you can always check its model and serial number with the official developer by simply sending him a message.
