How to recover data on a computer?
1. Launch EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free. The main program window will be displayed on the screen, in which, by default, the types of files that will be recovered by the program are checked. If you need to recover, for example, only documents, then uncheck the remaining file types to scan your computer faster.
2. Your local drives on which information is stored will be displayed on the screen. Check the box next to the local drive that will be used for the recovery procedure and click the button "Scan". This procedure will allow you to find all the folders that are or were on the selected disk.
3. The system may notify you that some folders were not detected. In this case, you need to resort to deep scanning, which will allow you to check the disk more thoroughly. To start it, you just need to press a button "Deep Scan".
Please note that the deep scan can take quite a long time, so be prepared to wait a long time for it to complete.
4. Once the scan is completed, you can proceed directly to the recovery procedure itself. A branch of the selected drive with folders coming from it will be displayed in the left area of the window. By clicking the little plus signs, you can open folders, which will, in turn, display the folders hidden in them.
Check the boxes next to the folders from which files will be restored. Once all the necessary folders are marked, you can begin file recoveryby pressing the button "Recover".
5. The program will require you to specify the folder in which the recovered files will be saved. In order for the recovery procedure to proceed correctly, it is not recommended to specify the disk from which the recovery procedure will be carried out as the location for saving files.
6. The scanning process will begin, the duration of which will depend on the number of files being recovered, as well as the number of selected folders.
7. At the end of the procedure, the program will display a window containing information about the success of the operation, the folder in which the recovered files were saved, as well as the number of remaining available megabytes that can be used for free file recovery.
8. The program will also automatically display a Windows Explorer window, which will display all the files and folders that the program was able to recover.
This completes the file recovery process. The program thoroughly scans the system, thanks to which most deleted files from the computer are recovered. But it should be noted that very little time should pass between deleting files and the recovery procedure, otherwise the chances of returning files to your computer are significantly reduced.
