Installing Windows 7 yourself
Previously, when there were glitches in the system and active viruses, we took the system unit to a service center and asked to reinstall Windows. There is no need for this now. This means seeking help from specialized centers. To successfully reinstall the system, you should strictly follow all the instructions and recommendations described below and you will succeed.
What we need to reinstall Windows 7
1. Disc with Windows 7: original or recorded with your own hands.
2. Set the BIOS to boot from cd-room.
3. Install the OS.
Burn Windows7 to disk
Those users who have the original Windows 7 disc can proceed to the next point in this article.
If such a disc does not exist, then you need to burn it yourself. You can also make a bootable USB flash drive.
First, you should purchase a DVD-R, DVD-RW disc. Then find Windows 7 OS online, for example the Home Premium version.
After this, we will need a special program with which we can burn the OS to disk.
We will use ImageBurner.
So, open the program, click “Browse”. Then select the prepared file with the Windows 7 ISO image.
Set the recording speed to minimum and click “Burn”.
At the bottom of the window you will see the process of writing the disc in the form of a filled green bar.
When the recording is complete, the disc will pop out of the DVD-ROM, and a corresponding message will appear on the screen.
Setting up the BIOS
The BIOS is set to boot from “Hard Drive”. This means that when the computer starts, the OS starts from the installed location. And we need the boot to occur from our disk where Windows 7 is recorded.
To change this you need zayti v BIOS and change settings.
For this purpose reboot the computer, at the moment of startup, press a special button (it can be Del, F1, F2...).
After this, a blue screen should appear. Here, using the arrows, we move along the following path
Select CD-ROM Drive.
Then press “F10”. This way we will save the changes made and reboot the system.
After the reboot, the following message will appear on the screen:
Press any key. After which we will see the inscription on the black screen
Let's move on to installing Windows 7
After the last message, a window will appear on the screen in 5-7 minutes where you should select a language.
Then click on the “Install” button.
Then you will have to wait a little and then accept the license terms.
Then select the installation type. We are interested in “Full installation”.
Then select from the list the drive on which the current version of Windows is located. Click on the “Disk Setup” button, and then “Format”. That is, we thus erase all information from drive “C”. Be prepared for this.
After this, the Windows Setup Wizard will start unpacking the files... and he won’t have time for you, so feel free to leave the computer for 20 minutes.
At the very end, a window will appear where we will be asked to name the user name and, accordingly, the computer name.
Then, if desired, enter a password. I skip this sentence and just click “Next”.
Then enter the product key or receive it when you connect to the Internet.
In the next window, select “Use recommended settings.”
Then we set up our time zone.
And after a few minutes, the Windows 7 “Desktop” will appear on the screen.
At this stage, the installation of Windows 7 is completely completed. As you can see, if you have detailed instructions, any user can install the OS on their own. If the installation of a pirated version of the OS fails, this does not mean that you did something wrong. The Windows ISO file may have been corrupted.
In this case, we recommend purchasing a licensed version of the OS or borrowing a working disk with a recorded Windows image from friends.
