How to rotate the screen on a laptop
In order to rotate the monitor screen to the required degree, you need to know what operating system is installed on the computer.
If you need Windows Vista or Windows 7 in the desktop space, click the mouse, open the context menu and select “Screen resolution”, launch a dialog box that allows you to set display settings. Possibility to rotate the screen is in the Orientation list. After opening it, four rotation options will be offered. To implement the required function, just make a selection by clicking on the “Ok” button.
You can also achieve the screen rotation function in the same menu, but in the “Graphics Options”. In the list of proposed sections, select “Rotate”, after which you will have access to variations of changing the position of the image on the laptop screen.
The reversal algorithm also depends on the video card. For example, if Windows XP uses an NVIDIA video card, just after selecting “NVIDIA Control Panel” in the context menu, click on “Rotate Display”. As a result, you will again have access to image position options.
You can also find the video card icon on the desktop and by clicking in the menu, section “Rotation parameters”, select “Optimal position” in the drop-down list.
You can also rotate the screen on your laptop using hotkey combinations: the down arrow, Alt and Ctrl(Strg) will rotate the image 180°, and the up arrow, Alt and Ctrl(Strg) will return the image to its original form. Knowing and performing such simple manipulations will provide the user with the most comfortable work at the laptop.
