How to put a copy-paste sign on the keyboard?
The copyright symbol is the Latin letter “C” enclosed in a circle. Its writing in an article, together with the name and year of publication, constitutes a sign of copyright protection. In order to ensure that when typing text there are no questions about how to insert a particular character that is not printed on the keyboard, you must first become familiar with the place where these characters are located in Word.
After this, you just need to press a key combination for the required symbol to appear on the sheet.
How to insert a copyright symbol in Word?
To do this we launch Word program on your computer and follow the instructions:
- Click the “Insert” tab.
- Next, find “Symbols” and click on the “Symbol” button.
- A small window will appear with the most popular symbols used on the computer. If you don’t see what you need among them, click “Other symbols”.
- Using the slider, we look through all the symbols that are available in the Word database. Or we select from the “Set” a group of symbols suitable for the desired sign.
- In our case, the copyright symbol is in the group called “Additional Latin-1”.

We use the keyboard shortcut that was specified in the insert symbol dialog box. To do this, press the “Alt” button on the keyboard and, holding it down, type the digital symbol code – “0169”. Note that in this way you can insert any necessary character; to do this, you just need to find out its numeric code.
