Often DirectX applications are placed in full screen mode, but with D3DWindower put them in a window. It mainly happens when running old games on ancient monitors where the picture is stretched unattractively. This function will be useful for those who constantly encounter a black screen when launching games.
Installing and using the program
- Download the archive with the program and unpack D3DWindower to a convenient location on your computer.
- Launch the application and click on the "+" icon.
- Specify the path to the executable file (*.exe) of your desired game.
- Select the game name from the list and then click on the gear icon ("Program Settings").
- On the first tab, in the upper field, specify the desired width of the game window, and in the lower field, the height.
- At the bottom of the window, click on the button next to the input field and specify the path to the file "D3DHook.dll" (located in the folder where you extracted D3DWindower).
- Click "OK" to save your changes. Click on the computer icon to start the game.
- Do it and use it.
When unpacking the program, we recommend a folder that does not contain Cyrillic characters.
