Q - Dir is a multi-level file manager for Windows that makes file management more convenient and, above all, much more convenient for you. Having multiple windows pointing to different locations on your hard drive makes it easier to move or copy data from one folder to another and also speeds up browsing. Q - Dir supports various 2, 3 o 4 panel layouts and each one can be customized separately.
Q - Dir doesn't really add any extra feature to the themes that were already shown in Windows Explorer, but there is one special feature that I liked: the ability to show files in different colors according to the file type, such as blue for images, red for music and so on. In addition, this color code is fully customizable. Q - Dir does not require installation and can even be run from a USB drive.
Although it doesn't have a dedicated tool, Q-Dir is still a more complete file manager with multiple panels and custom color codes for file types.
Open Quick - Link in a new tab using the midl mouse button. Open the Folders folder through the Folder menu in a new tab using the midl button. Disable transparent selection (in W7/Vista) via Menu/Extras/List-View. The path is too long, we shortened the text into the correct title line, for example ../../file.xxx
