Computer for a musician
Today we will look at the basic set of programs and utilities that you need to create your own mini-recording studio, as well as the software necessary for great sound. Let's start, of course, with the hardware.
The processor must be powerful enough to process large amounts of information and be able to reproduce high-quality sound. We will take the Intel Core i7-3820 as a basis.
The best memory solution would be an SSD, two of which are for the system and for audio.
Naturally, the built-in sound card of the motherboard will not be absolutely enough - you need a separate one. The best solution would be Native Instruments Traktor Audio 6.
Video card does not necessarily have to be “high-end”, so we will choose the budget manufacturer AMD.
RAM - at least 8 gigabytes.
Naturally, we choose motherboard under all the good we have chosen. Power supply unit - approximately 700-800W.
