Setting up the ASUS RT-N11P router

As with any setup of another router, you must first connect it to your computer. To do this, you can use the LAN cable that comes with the router. Next you need go to the settings menu of the router itselfa.
And to do this, you just need to enter the address in any computer browser in the address bar 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. Next, a window will open in which you will need to log in. For both login and password, enter "admin". Click on the button "OK".
When setting up the ASUS RT-N11P router, you will immediately be transferred to quick setup at this point. In principle, this is what we need. At this step you will only need to click on the "Next".
Then a window will open in which you will need to change the password to a more complex one. At this stage, enter the password. which you came up with and click on the button "Next".
There isn't much left to do. At this point, you should see a page where you will need to select the type of your Internet connection. For example, this could be a PPPoE connection. You can find out about the type of connection from your provider or in the service agreement. In most cases, the ASUS RT-N11P router will automatically detect the connection type.
There's only one step left. At this point, a window with account settings should open. Here you will need to enter the login and password specified in the contract for the provision of services by the Internet provider. Then you need to press the button againNext".
After a few seconds, another page will open in which you will need to enter only two parameters, namely the name of the wireless network and its password. The network name (SSID) is any name for your Wi-Fi connection, and the network password is the password you created, which will need to be entered when connecting to the network. At the end of all actions, you need to click on the button "apply".
