How to Find the Best Free Fonts

Step 1: Unpack the font in Windows 10
Once you've selected a font and downloaded it, it will be compressed as a ZIP file in your downloads folder. To unpack the file you will need a packer program such as WinZip or WinRAR.
If you have a packaging program installed, select the packaged font by right-clicking and then select "Extract to...". As a result, a folder of the same name is created containing the unpacked fonts. Double-click the folder to open it.
Step 2: Open the information window and start installation
In the open folder, select the font you want to install again by double-clicking on it. An information window will open in which you can see the appearance of the font at different point sizes and the current version of the font.
There are two buttons in the top left corner that allow you to either print the review or set the font. Click the "Install" button to begin the installation process. After a few seconds, Windows 10 will install the font and automatically place it in the "C:/Windows/Fonts" folder.
