DNS server is not responding
This technology is needed in order to your browser consistently connected with the Internet resources you need. It is because of a failure in DNS that sometimes it is impossible to access the Internet. To fix this problem, you first need to make sure that this is the problem. And for this you need to do the following. In general, the most optimal method consists of two actions: checking the DNS for functionality and, if necessary, switching to public DNS.
In order to check the DNS for functionality, do the following: Go to the menu "Run" (hotkey combination "Ctrl+R") and enter the following command "services.msc". After this, a window will open in which all the services running on your computer will be indicated. Accordingly, we are looking for the DNS service.
Everything should be as in the screenshot. If something is wrong, then we correct it and the next step is to switch to public DNS from Google. We switch to them because they always work reliably.
In order to switch to public DNS from Google, you need to do the following. Let's go to "Control panel" and go to "Network and Sharing Center". Here we search and go to the point "Change adapter settings". Accordingly, you need to select the adapter you are using.
After that, right-click on the adapter and select "<font><font>Materials</font></font>". Then we look for "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click on "<font><font>Materials</font></font>".
A new window will open in which you will need to find fields for entering DNS servers. In these fields you need to enter the following values: in the first field “preferred DNS server” - 8.8.8.8, and in the second field “alternative DNS server” - 8.8.4.4.
In principle, that's all. After this, the problem with the DNS server should be resolved.
