How to select a country in Tor?
It often happens that when viewing a page or video, sad information appears that this content is not available in your country. Experienced users will immediately turn their attention to anonymous proxies. However, both ordinary and notoriously experienced users should appreciate the work of Tor through the IP addresses of the country you need. The whole problem is that Tor works, like any other browser, is produced through different IP addresses in different countries. We need the IP address of one specific country.
Once you launch Tor, you need to make sure that it is connected to the network. The green onion icon will notify us of this.
Go to "Settings", "Advanced" tab. At the bottom of the window there is a button “Edit current torrc” - click on it, and at the very bottom of the editing window, that is, at the end, add the line ExitNodes {ru} (as an example - instead of ru you can write ua, us, by, kz - in general, the necessary "country code"). Check the "Apply selected" box, confirm with the OK button and restart the browser.
From all possible IPs, only Russian ones will now be selected, and when you click the “Change Identity” button, the IP address will change - and in the same way to Russian.
You can also use several countries - for example, ExitNodes {ua},{ru}. If you need any countries except a certain one, write the line ExcludeExitNodes {ua} (as an example). So, if you strictly followed the instructions, then now the sites will think that you are in one or another country of your choice. All that remains is enter URL and enjoy content that was previously hidden from the eyes of your fellow citizens!
