Working with Microsoft Word: saving an image from a document
Quite often, .doc and .docx files contain pictures, in addition to text. If you feel the need to save a separate image from such a document, but do not know how to do it, then now we will tell you the procedure that will help you “pull” an image from a text document created in Word onto your computer.
Procedure
- Open a document that contains the image you need.
- Right-click on the desired picture and click on the button in the drop-down menu Copy.
- Open the tool Paint and paste the copied image onto the work area of this program. This can be done either by right-clicking the mouse, and then selecting Insert, or by pressing the key combination Ctrl + V.
- After these steps, the picture will be copied to the Paint program canvas. Next, you need to crop the unnecessary area that extends beyond the image. To do this, left-click on this area, then hold down the same button on one of the square icons and drag the edges until you achieve the desired result.
- When everything is ready, click on the menu button in the upper left part of the Paint program, select Save as, then indicate in what format you want to save the finished result and where on your computer to save the image.
