Intel Rapid Technology
Currently, the volume of confidential personal data that all of humanity encounters every day is increasing every moment. Each person watches movies, takes many valuable photographs, and views and edits certain documents. And absolutely every piece of this personal information needs a strong and proven security system. It is for this purpose that Intel designed Intel Rapid technology.
Description
The technology created allows for greater levels of productivity, scale and security that other companies could not achieve before. The number of drives used does not matter, since the quality with which the security of personal data is ensured remains in full functionality and low energy consumption. Another positive factor is that even with the slightest disruption to the memory drive, the system will still protect everyone from information loss. Applications that use this technology include programs for viewing and editing photos and videos, and a large number of office programs.
The Intel Rapid Storage Technology user interface makes creating and coordinating personal storage easy and effortless. Teamed with Intel® Rapid Recover Technology, you can protect personal information with just an external drive. Invaluable personal information is protected from drive failure using RAID solutions in one of 3 levels of damage resistance: RAID 1, RAID 5 or RAID 10. Storage duplicates of personal information on one or more auxiliary drives allows you to protect against loss of information or platform downtime in the event of any violation of the drives. Once a failed drive is replaced, its resilience to data failures is simply restored. Intel Rapid storage standards can significantly increase the productivity of drive-enhanced retrieval applications such as personal video post-editing. By mixing from three to seven drives in RAID 0 configurations, it is possible to gain access to information on each drive at the same time. This configuration improves responsiveness for resource-intensive applications. In addition, due to automatic load balancing in platforms with RAID 1, it is possible to achieve the advantage of increased download and read speeds. Intel Rapid storage technology provides superiority for customers with a single drive. Through AHCI, the productivity of storage modules has been improved. In addition, AHCI improves battery life when working with the LPM standard, which reduces chipset and Serial ATA (SATA) drive power consumption.
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology introduces the latest security, performance, and expansion enhancements to a portfolio of desktop and mobile personal computing systems. When using one or more memory drives, customers can enjoy the benefits of increased productivity and reduced energy consumption. When using more than one storage device, the client has the opportunity to purchase auxiliary protection against the loss of personal information if the storage device used is inoperable.
