A fairly common situation: the user has a picture that contains text. It’s clear that you won’t be able to copy text from a picture, which means you’ll need to recognize this text by translating it, for example, into a Word program file.

Below we will look at several tools with which you can perform text recognition. Fortunately, today more than one tool can cope with this task.

Online service provided by ABBYY. The service is not free, however, to ensure its effectiveness, you can perform recognition of as many as 10 pages completely free of charge.

5. If you use cloud services, the final file can be saved to one of your storages (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) - to do this, check the appropriate box and perform authorization. Unlike the service described in the article above, here you do not have the opportunity to select several languages ​​at once for the text placed in the picture. 3. By default, the service converts the image to Microsoft Word format. If necessary, this format can be changed to any of the proposed ones.

2. Without registration, the online service allows you to recognize up to 10 pages. If you need to get text from more images, you will first need to register and authorize on the service website. To upload an image, click on the button "From the computer", after which Windows Explorer will appear on the screen, in which you will need to select one or more pictures for recognition.
   
   
   
   
   
3. The second step is to select one or more languages. In our case, it is only Russian, so we will not make any changes.
