The Punto Switcher program is intended for wide use. It is simply necessary for an active user, because it allows you to simultaneously work with text, chat, respond to comments and send emails, without worrying about the keyboard layout. Even if instead of the usual “How are you?” accidentally type “rfr ltkf&” and send it as an instant message, then Punto Switcher will get ahead and fix everything. A visualization of this process emulates the operation of the “BackSpace” key: first the text is erased, and then appears in the correct version of the language.
The utility is available for use on your computer with Windows OS installed or Mac OS.
Operating principle of Punto Switcher
When entering a word from the keyboard, the program performs a statistical analysis that determines how typical the combination of letters in the word is for the user's chosen language. If the combination of characters is atypical, the utility automatically switches the input language and corrects the characters already typed.

The program is free to download and install, which allows you to try it out and make sure it works without any risk. This must be done from the official website of the utility manufacturer - Yandex. After this, you can begin installation. It will take a matter of seconds.
We click on the installation file and see a window in front of us in which we need to use Explorer to select a location on the hard drive to install the utility. Then read the license agreement and click “Install”.
In the next two installation windows we will be prompted other products from Yandex for use on a computer on a network. To refuse them, you need to uncheck the boxes; if we want to try, we leave everything as is and click “Next”.
The last dialog box will congratulate us on the successful installation. They will also offer to familiarize themselves with the new features of the Punto Switcher version and launch it immediately.
After this, nothing big will happen, but an additional language bar will simply appear. In the image, the Punto Switcher icon is the first one on the left.
To quickly configure the program, right-click on the icon and see a dialog box where you can set the appropriate mode for using the program.
What can Punto Switcher do?
During the existence of the utility, its functionality has included a huge number of additional features besides simply adjusting the entered characters:
