How to connect a router to a computer?
Internet connections are available on any portable device: phone, tablet, even mp3 players. It’s clear that there should be at home Wi-Fi, and in order for it to work throughout the apartment, you cannot do without a router. Well, there is a Wi-Fi router, there is a cable with the Internet, there is a computer, but how to connect everything together? Many users have difficulties at this stage. Let's try to figure it out. First you need to get a free network cable. It can be purchased at any computer store of the required length. All routers, regardless of model, have five connectors. One blue one is intended for connecting the network cable through which the Internet connection is made, and 4 yellow ones are intended for connecting to a computer or laptop. They have a LAN connection type.
So, we take a free cable, at two ends of which there are corresponding clamps. We insert one side into a free LAN cell in the Wi-Fi router, as shown in the picture.
Moreover, it does not matter what kind of connector it will be. The second end must be inserted into the cell of the network card of the computer or laptop. On PC it looks like this:
Once the connection is made, another green light will start flashing on the Wi-Fi router. This indicator indicates that the process has completed successfully and the signal is sent to the computer.
