How to disassemble HP Pavilion Dv6 laptop?

After this, unscrew all the screws on the back of the laptop, that is, in the same place where the battery was located.


After this, you can easily remove the socket from the back of the laptop. Now you need to unscrew all the remaining screws on this side of the laptop. Don't forget about one important point: during the entire disassembly of the laptop, you will have a bunch of different screws. Moreover, they will all be of different lengths. Assemble them separately and preferably label each group of screws to one or another part of the laptop. At the same stage we hook up the DVD drive.

Next, disconnect the hard drive contact. After that, turn the keyboard over. There is another cable under the keyboard that needs to be disconnected.

Now all you have to do is disconnect the laptop case. It is best to do this with some kind of plastic object. Something like a plastic card will do.

Follow the steps shown in the image above. After a few seconds, you can easily remove the housing. After this you will see 4 more unconnected contacts. You separate them all. This is done quite simply.

In principle, the hardest part is already behind us. Already at this stage you can start to cleaning your laptop. But it’s still better to disconnect all other components, namely the cooler, motherboard, board with USB mount. To do all this, you need to tighten a couple more screws and disconnect the necessary cables. After these steps, you can completely clean your HP Pavilion dv6 laptop.
