How to enter BIOS on an Acer laptop
Many users, when meeting the next laptop, can only guess what buttons or a combination of them brings up the BIOS screen.
We go into BIOS on an Acer laptop:
- Turn on the laptop and carefully observe what is happening, because some models have an inscription “Press DEL to enter SETUP” when loading. If we see this inscription, then press the “DEL” button and safely get into the BIOS. - It should be noted that the message that suggests visiting the BIOS before loading completely may sound different. It is not necessary that the activation button is “Del”. It may happen that this will be any button from the “F” family or even a combination of the “Ctrl”, “Alt”, “Esc” buttons.
- The following scenario of events is also possible: the invitation message will not appear on the screen, but only the normal loading process will occur. In this case, you should wait until the keyboard is activated - the button indicators blink: “NumLock”, “CapsLock”, “ScrollLock”. Then press the treasured “Del” button several times. If all else fails, you should try a different button combination after rebooting the laptop.
Why should users log into BIOS?
In Bios, the user gets access to the most important information about the computer - its configuration. In addition, it can change settings and disable programs that are not needed. But most importantly, it is through the BIOS that operating system installation. It should be borne in mind that it is not so easy to get into the BIOS due to the importance of the stored information, as well as the possibility of disrupting the proper operation of the laptop system. Therefore, there is no need to go into the BIOS without any good reason.
