D-link DIR-320 router settings
Configuring the Router - the matter is not very difficult, just spend a few minutes on it. In this article you will learn how to set up Internet access and turn on Wi-Fi. To login router settings menu open any browser and write 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. A window will appear asking you to log in. By default, the router has the following data:
Username (login) – admin
Password - empty field
It is recommended to immediately change the data to more reliable ones. To do this, go to the "Maintenance" and in the menu on the left select the section "Device management" Here you can replace the current data with new ones.
Now you can start setting up the Internet.
At the top of the screen, select the "Installation" and in the left menu go to the section "Internet installation" Next, set the following settings:
Setting up the PPTP protocol
• Internet connection in use: PPTP (Dual Access) or Russia PPTP (Dual Access)
• Enter the information received from your provider: Static IP address
• IP Address: specify the IP address from the connection agreement
• Subnet mask: specify the subnet mask from the connection agreement
• Gateway: specify the gateway from the connection agreement
• DNS: specify DNS from the connection agreement
• IP Address/Server Name: specify the VPN server from the connection agreement
• PPTP account: indicate the contract number
• PPTP password: enter the password for the VPN server
• Re-entering the PPTP password: Re-enter the password
• Select connection mode: Always
• Click the buttonSave settings».
Setting up PPPoE (PPPoA)
• Internet connection in use: Russia PPPoE (Dual Access)
• Enter the information received from your provider: Static IP address or Dynamic IP address (depending on your ISP connection conditions)
• Username: enter the login from the connection agreement
• Password: enter the password from the connection agreement
• Re-entering your password: Re-enter the password
• IP Address: will enter the IP address from the connection agreement
• MAC address: enter the MAC address from the connection agreement
• Primary DNS address: Enter the primary DNS from the connection agreement
• Secondary DNS address: enter the alternative DNS from the connection agreement
• Select connection mode: Always
• Click the buttonSave settings».
If you wish, you can also set up Wi-Fi.
To do this, staying in the “Installation", in the menu on the left, select "Setting up a wireless network" and set the following settings:
• Enable Wireless Access: check the box (do not confuse it with the other “Enable” option - there is no need for a check mark)
• Wireless network name: come up with and indicate the name of the network
• Enable Auto Channel Selection: tick
• Cipher type: Both
• PSK/EAP: PSK
• Network key: Choose security password and specify it for the network (other devices will also enter it to connect to this network)
• Click the buttonSave settings».
To turn off Wi-Fi next time, return to this menu and uncheck the "Enable Wireless Access" At this point, the basic configuration of the router has been completed, you can go online and connect via Wi-Fi to this network from other devices.
