Why does Word need the SmartArt tool? How to use it?
A SmartArt chart makes it easy and quick to create a graphical representation of all your information. You can choose from a variety of designs to effectively convey your messages or ideas.
To insert one of these graphs, follow these simple steps:
- Open the menu Insert and go to the block Illustrationswhere you will find the option SmartArt.
- Then you just need to choose the type of graphics you will use.
- After that you can add the appropriate text, to do this you need to click on the graph and on the left you will see a dot with an inscription, click on it and a field will appear where you can write.
- To add more titles you must place yourself in the last field and click enter, this will add more headings to add text.
Like all graphic Word elements, you will be able to change the colors, either default colors or custom colors.
To change the default colors, you need to select the graphic with a mouse click, then go to the menu Design and press Change colors, there you will find many flowers.
Now to select custom colors you need to select the graph and if you want the entire graph to be the same color just go to the menu Format, then in the section Fill you can choose the color you like best.
Otherwise, if you want the graph to have different colors, you need to select each part of the graph in turn, and then from the menu Format In chapter Fill choose the color you need.
Finally, if you want to change your schedule, you can do so with just three clicks. To do this, you need to select a chart, then in the section Design a menu will appear Designs, where you will find all the types of graphs that can be changed, just click on one of them and your graph will change.
TIP: To resize the entire SmartArt graphic, click the border of the SmartArt graphic and drag the size handles in or out until the SmartArt graphic is the size you want.
