How to find out Wi-Fi password

Как узнать Вай Фай пароль

There is a Wi-Fi router nearby, but you don’t know how to find out Wi-Fi password. In fact, everything is very simple. I will give two options that will help you find out the password. One of them is very simple, and the second one will require connection to your router.

It is much easier to recover a password if at least one computer had an automatic connection to the network. In this case, you should select the “Network and Sharing Center” action, which is located in the Control Panel. On the left you can see several options. From them you need to select “Manage wireless networks” and click on the link. In the window that appears, you need to find your network, then right-click on it.

Next, you need to select the “Properties” option. A new window with two tabs will appear in front of you, select the second one - “Security”. Next to the “Network security key” parameter there will be your password, only at this stage it is still hidden. To see it, check the “Display entered characters” checkbox. This is how easy it is to find out your Wi-Fi password. There is a second method for recovering a forgotten password. It is often used if the computer does not have automatic connection. Then you can find out the password using the settings of the router itself. The Wi-Fi router should be connected to the PC using a network cable. In the address bar of your browser you should enter 192.168.1.1. In the window that appears, you must specify the login admin and password admin. They are only relevant if you have not changed them. In the settings, select “Wireless Mode”, then “Wireless Protection”. In the window that opens, opposite the words “PSK password”, the password to access your Wi-Fi will be indicated. With these simple steps, you can recover your forgotten wireless network password. In the future, it is advisable to write it down or change it to something easier for you to remember.

Zlata, you probably meant to say “wireless networks”. There may be two options:
    1. You do not have a Wi-Fi module in your computer. Please clarify, do you have a laptop or a desktop computer?
    2. Laptop drivers are not installed. Check your make and model.

How wonderful that the native login and password is admin-admin. I went into my work TP link and turned on Wi-Fi for everyone) Thank you for the article!
